About Us

Spring Angels Childcare was founded by Bahar, an early childhood educator with more than 25 years of experience in childcare, education, and program leadership.

Bahar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool and Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum Planning for Preschool Education. In Iran, she spent over 25 years as the owner and director of a large childcare centre serving up to 120 children. The program combined play-based learning with Montessori-inspired practices and included early literacy, math and science, social development, Orff music, yoga, dance, art, pottery, gardening, storytelling, creative drama, and parent workshops.

After moving to Canada, Bahar had her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees evaluated in British Columbia and obtained her B.C. Early Childhood Educator certification based on her educational background. She then completed additional Infant/Toddler Educator training at Vancouver Career College and gained Canadian experience working as an Infant/Toddler Educator at a well-established group childcare centre in North Vancouver.

Spring Angels was created to bring this extensive experience into a smaller, more personal setting. Today, our program focuses on meaningful play, strong relationships, individualized attention, and thoughtfully planned learning experiences that support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
