Philosophy

The daycare program and its staff would like to welcome you to Spring Angels Childcare.  Please take a moment and read through this policy and procedures manual as we find it very beneficial to parents and childcare providers.  Spring Angels Childcare will comply with the Community Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) for a family childcare centre. 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

• Spring Angels Childcare will provide a warm and respectful atmosphere for children interactions

• Children are entitled to a safe and nurturing environment with a schedule of routines that best meet the individual needs of each child under our care.  Each child is treated with respect as a valuable individual.

• Spring Angels Childcare is a play-based daycare

• Our centre gives children the opportunity to play freely and choose to play with whatever and whoever they are willing to

• Spring Angels Childcare will provide a weekly report on the child’s cognitive, social, physical and language development

• Offer a positive and rewarding experience in a group setting

• Provide an opportunity for children to learn through play and art

• Respect children's ethnicities, culture and religious backgrounds

• Reinforce and acknowledge children's positive behaviour

• Assist each individual to develop their own strength and talents

• Parents are entitled to respect, support and quality care for their children

• Staffs are entitled to work in an environment which recognizes and respects their training, skills and commitment to childcare

• Our centre enhances the lives of the children and their parents by providing a caring, nourishing and supportive services
